About Me
Mary Lou Condike
ML (short for Mary Lou) grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from
Worcester State University with a BS in Mathematics, and Worcester Polytechnic
Institute with Masters in Business Administration.
Since high school, ML has aspired to become a writer. After a career in business, she retired and began her dream. She has two and a half unpublished books, novels, and a nonfiction. Her ultimate goal is to write a series of mystery novels.
In August 2019, five of her short stories were published in Strange & Sweet,
Stories from the Granbury Writers’ Bloc. Boundless, Stories by Authors Destined to
Soar, A Vinculinc Anthology, Vinculinc, Inc., came out in 2017 and was the first book
published by Vinculinc. She placed in the 2019 Kathryn McClatchy Flash Fiction
Contest.
ML has completed the Southern Methodist University’s Writer’s Path in Dallas, including an invitation to the New York Seminar in November 2019.
She is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, Key West Writers Guild, and the Granbury
Writer’s Bloc, a local writer’s critique group. Besides writing, ML has other hobbies that include knitting, sewing, painting, fishing, and best of all, reading.
She lives in Big Pine Key, Florida with her best friend and husband, Brian, and their Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Sophie. ML and Brian has one grown child Meridith Young who lives in Massachusetts. They are also very proud of their two granddaughters, Emily Young from Massachusetts, and Ava Condike who lives in California.
